Warriors End Season with a Win

The Waterloo Warriors celebrated Seniors Day on Saturday with a
convincing 85-64 win over the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks. In the
game, Waterloo had five players in double figures and controlled
the ball, giving up just 5 turnovers while grabbing 16 steals. Matt
Kieswetter led the Warriors with 15 points, while Trevor Csima led
the Hawks with 16.
Co-captains Matt Kieswetter, Olivier Quesnel
and Michael Davis played their final game as Warriors. Davis finishes
his career 16th on the all time scoring list, scoring 1581 points
in 166 games. Kieswetter emerged as the team's leading scoring in
his final season, scoring 13.6 points per game, including a career
high 27 points a few days ago at Brock. Quesnel earned a starting
role last season with hard work and defensive skills. A ceremony
prior to the game honoured their achievements.
The Warriors finished the season in 7th
place in the OUA West and missed the playoffs.
